SUNNAH AND WELLNESS

Wellness is the discipline that deals with living a healthy and fulfilling life. Although health professionals have only recently started to emphasize wellness, followers of the Prophetic Sunnah have been successfully pursuing wellness for centuries. Based on our February 2020 retreat, this classroom focuses on key areas of the sunnah as they relate to wellness, including sleep, spending time in nature, bringing blessings into our finances, gratitude and positive thinking, and simplicity and decluttering. Insha’Allah, retreat participants will gain a greater understanding of how the sunnah promotes wellness and how bringing the sunnah into our lives leads to wellness in both this world and the next.
