The Sacred Learning Center will be hosting brothers for the Sunnah practice of Itikaf for Ramadan. Itikaf involves secluding oneself in the masjid during the last ten days and nights of Ramadan, as was the annual practice of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and his Companions (Allah be pleased with them). During this time, attendees devote themselves to worship, learning, seeking forgiveness for past shortcomings, and searching for Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power), which is a night of worship more valuable than a thousand months. |
